I am invested in combining my artist and scientist halves and seeking public platforms to make data-rich science more understandable, embodied, and memorable for anyone and everyone.

I am a Brooklyn, NY-based award winning freelance dancer/performer, historical marine ecologist, and communication instructor. I specialize in science communication but love working with and learning about all areas of expertise.

In dance, I have had a rich career collaborating with numerous choreographers and companies both nationally and internationally, and am currently involved in projects with Carrie Ahern, Maho Ogawa, and Clarinda Mac Low.

As a freelance ecologist I focus on the impacts humans have had on shoreline ecosystems and the creatures within them. NYC and it’s deep water-based history is my archive. I am also the research assistant and fact checker for best-selling author Paul Greenberg.

My ecology and art intersect in new ways all the time, but most notably the experiential climate change sensing project Sunk Shore, with the art-eco collective Works on Water, and as the Co-Creative Programs Coordinator at Genspace.

Find me talking communication with the American Fisheries Society’s Climate Ambassadors Program and with Exact Communication.
